Shooting for www.imm-bcn.com again, many models, tough to get creative. Used a 100 x 100 softbox as main then the 70 x 70 straight in her back. Can't wait to buy the OCTA 190!

En esa use el 50 para dar mas proximidad, parece estar Giorgia mas cerca que en realidad, la luz viene de la izquierda con el beauty dish i luego un poco de la derecha con un spot...me gusto al pose! Queria algo retro, como siempre!

Con luces de encima, da mas fuerza a la mirada...

This one is similar to 01 in this series but a little further. I must say that i feel better doing tight portraits than body shots. I very much liked the way she looked at the camera.

Guen is right in front of the octa with the difuser taken off and big white panel on either side of the lens to make even lighting and prevent flare. Silver beauty dish from above and behind straight in.

Straight in with the mini-spot, 2m off the ground slightly camera left, you can see the shadow under her nose goes down and to the right. Added ambien with the octa 190, but 3 stops down. Spots give a great hard light, the specular highlights aren't muted like with a softbox. Oh, anda wind machine too.

variation, did a channel mixer and added some GRAIN, while the other one is summer and perhaps 70s, this one is more retro, reminds me of a 40s shot, a head band could have been nice.

I shoot at 50 iso with the 85/1.8 and flashes firing at about 1/800s and shooting at f/8 (the lens' sweet spot), there is no way i get grain but i like to start with the best RAW and then do my work. Better to have too much data than not enough.

Apparently there is a deadly film-feel plugin for PS called Grain Surgery...it might just sign the end of the old T-MAX and FP4...niaaaam. Being a photographer has never been easier!

Same series, zenital beauty dish over a girafe + silver reflector below. Lovely make up on Natalie by Irene You can see the shadow of her hair on her shoulders. If i had to do it again, i would put a counter camera right behind her firing up to highlight the shaper of her shoulder.

In ps, added a glow filter and a red layer (multiply blend)

Retocando el nuevo book de Yuliya. Claro, esa tiene muchisimo retoque, siempre me molesta un poco "destruir" una foto con el retoque pero bueno, esta en el TIFF el original!

meme scene dans la discotheque mais dans un autre recoin, je voulais un peu le style intime/dandy. La piece etait tres petite et donc dificile au niveau exposition comme la lumiere etait tres pres du modele.
