I wanted to take a picture this morning and the new May page just kept on catching my eye. My 2006 Betty Page calendar just took a whole new direction - earlier months were more tame! I don't have much on the calendar yet...but I am happy June is almost here. Can you tell?

(Harris Shutter Effect) Boogie Boarding I

The Harris shutter effect combines different color layers from three successive shots to give colored ghosts to moving elements. This series of frames was taken hand-held and required alignment correction (I used Picturewindow pro). Artifacts from the blue layer, though present, are difficult to see except in large size. Alternatively, look here to isolate the Harris shutter effect, removing the beach and sky.
