The Chevrolet Bel Air is a full-size automobile that was produced by the Chevrolet division of General Motors for the 1950–1975 model years. Hardtops in the Chevrolet Deluxe Styleline model range were designated with the Bel Air name from 1950–1952, but it was not a distinct series of its own until the 1953 model year. Bel Air production continued in Canada for its home market only through the 1981 model year.

A Must View On Black

Today iam finishing my Week of July 4 series. I was a bit bored today to post straight forward shots so i wanted to try some processing. I think it has come good but i need all your comments to confirm that :)

The White House has been the official residence of every President of the United States with the exception of George Washington.

The White House is located on a site near the Mall chosen in 1790 by president George Washington and Pierre l'Enfant, the architect who created the master plan for the new capital. Meanwhile the president resided in the President's House at the temporary capital Philadelphia.

Most people seem to think the building was first painted white after it was rebuilt in 1817, but already in 1798 it was made white by a protective lime-based whitewash. It wasn't named White House from the beginning though: it was originally named the 'President's Palace', 'President's House' or 'Executive Mansion'. It was soon nicknamed 'White House' and in 1901 president Theodore Roosevelt made it the official name.

Giant Beetle Hitchhiking On My Kayak (Pine Sawyer Beetle) - Crystalwood Lodge, Klamath County, Oregon

Actually I found this thumb-sized beetle floating in Crystal Creek so I lifted him out of the water and placed him on my kayak mostly to terrify my wife Margo. Mission accomplished! I paddled up next to her and bumped into her boat with this giant crawling around on my prow and she FREAKED!

He had some chompers on him - I believe they eat wood. When irritated he would start biting everything in sight. I let him ride all the way back and didn't know where he had gone until I lifted the kayak to put it on my truck top and he fell off to the ground with a thud.
